So... I'm a furry?? I also like taking photos... I also like doing weird techy shit... and I like the colour purple. Yeah, I suppose that's a good enough TL;DR.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not all that much of an interesting person, so for all the brave souls who wish to suffer trying to read this slab of text I call an about-me page, be prepared for an experience that's worse than watching paint dry.

Hi, I'm Blobby, a 17-year-old Bri'ish furry twatface that much prefers to do funny things with these arcane objects called computers, rather than things along the lines of "getting bitches" or "cranking 90s" or whatever the kids do these days. I instead spend my time going on long walks, taking photos, doing all sorts of small networking projects and hiding from the prying eyes of big corprorations and political bodies as I surf the web.

I PASSIONATELY DESPISE the modern web, and it's not just because of all the scary telemetry everyone sneaks into their sites, apps and whatnot, but also because all it boils down to is the same boxy, uninspired CSS template and some means to farm retention, whether it'd be through a social media algorithm, through hiring psychologists to aid in keeping people on a given site or service as long as possible, or outright just pissing you off. "hEY, dO YOu waNt cOOkiES!? yU wAnn uNsubScb fRm oUr neWsleTTa?!! WELL YA CANT, DORK!" Put it simply, it fucking sucks. I'm glad I discovered Neocities when I was nearing 13. Some would consider that late to the party, but hey, better late than never.

And that's how I ended up making a website of my own - it's nothing too special but I'm proud of it :3

My fursona is a hybrid between a fennec fox and a kangaroo, solely because I thought it'd be cool :3

Here's my desktop - I'm running LMDE6 with Cinnamon in case anyone was curious. Also if you thought for a moment that this page was going to have any sort of structure to it, then I'm sorry to disappoint.

WHAT I LIKE:

Videogames - that's a fairly good place to start.
Photography (who would've guessed).
Furries - so fluffy and cute ^w^
Clouds - they make the world feel vast :)
Rain - nobody's out, it's nice and cool - it both sounds and feels nice - just perfect weather.
Getting lost - it gets boring knowing where everything is.
Rock/Metal Music - It's just good, I don't have much else to say here.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE:

Big tech companies, their shit products and their diabolical telemetry.
Ring Doorbells - see the above point :3
AI (technically speaking LLMs but still)
Microsoft Windows. Need I say more...
Steam - Telemetry, DRM and performance detriments all in one package. No thanks.
THE MOTHERFUCKING SUN. TURN IT OFF - TURN IT OFF NOW.
Summer. I hate summer. Too hot, too many bugs and too many people.
Dogs - ironic for me to say, yes, but they terrify me.
Pop Music. It's all the same shit - Soulless, repetitive and annoying.

I could continue with this one for a while, but I'd rather not soil the mood too much.

FAVOURITE GAMES

Rain World

Rain World is by far my favourite game of all time. My desktop says it, my links say it, and soon I'll scream all about it in a sort-of-shrine article that I'm working on still. There are many MANY reasons why I adore this title particularly - the art is splendid, the gameplay is difficult (occasionally unfair) but nevertheless unique and fun, and the story behind the broken ecosystem you have to adapt to is beautifully written and presented. Absolute fucking masterpiece of a game.

ULTRAKILL

I've played a fair number of shooters, and while Halo's fun, Half-Life (at least its multiplayer) is chaotic and Doom is fast, ULTRAKILL combines all three of these and sprinkles in a bit of DMC as well. There is no fun ceiling to this game - it's oftentimes brutally difficult, it's always psychotically paced and the amount of weapon synergies and stylish instakills you can pull of is truly ridiculous. If you've ever wanted to kill archangels, prime souls or really big fish with a few pennies of spare change and a revolver, I beg you try this game out - the difficulty variety make it so anyone from those new to the concept of an interactive moving pictures all the way up to "e-sPOrTs aLPha gAmERs" can play this and have a blast.

Favourite Weapon: Malicious (Red) Railcannon
Default or Slab Marksman: Converted to Defualt - slab is good though
Favourite Enemy: Gutterman (Free health & good conduction target)
Least Favourite Enemy: Malicious Face (fuck you Maurice)
Favourite Level: 7-4 /// ...Like antennas to heaven
Favourite Track: War Without Reason

Other good games include:

Dark Souls - Not only is it challenging, but the art and story that would normally go underappreciated is brilliant. Dead societies seem to strike a chord with me.
Just Shapes & Beats - It's a simple rhythm game - music makes pink dangerous things, and you avoid them. Absolutely hilarious with a friend or two.
Bungie Halo - These games, albeit slow-paced, are really fun to play, whether it'd be on your own or with a few friends around. Halo 2's grown on me a LOT, though you can't go wrong with any Bungie title.
DOOM - 1993? 2016? Doesn't matter, I'm reducing demons to puddles of blood either way. These games are really fun - can't wait to see what they do with The Dark Ages.
Cave Story - Quite an old indie game with a simple story, great characters, a REALLY cool level system and quite a good OST. It's short, sweet and a delight to play.
